A group of conservatory-level students will be selected to study, rehearse, and perform challenging repertoire from the 20th and 21st centuries. Applications will be accepted from singers, violin, viola, cello, contrabass, flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon, horn, percussion and piano. Pre-formed groups may also apply.
Coaching and private instruction will be given by director Fred Sherry and members of the Conference Ensemble. The CPI will give a formal concert at the end of each week. CPI students enjoy interaction with the composer fellows and guest composers; they may be asked to play with the Conference Ensemble in their concerts.
